Derek is a passionate industry-leading seasoned healer and retreat host. He has been living in Nicaragua for the past 5 years curating and hosting holistic retreats. He is the founder of Soul Water Surf, Conscious Breath & Meditation Workshops (his personally designed Breath and Meditation Sessions/Workshops and Iguana Sauna & Ice Bath (a contrast exposure facility located in Nicaragua offering personal and group sessions in contrast therapy protocols).
Prior to moving to Nicaragua Derek lived for 4 years throughout Indonesia and the Maldives as a guest experience curator and holistic treatment provider for some of the world's most high-end remote luxury retreat companies. He shared various elements of his Conscious Breath and Meditation Immersion in a variety of settings ranging from resorts, wellness centers and private retreats throughout Indonesia, Southeast Asia and Central America to clinical settings and applications for various patients, therapists, athletes, etc.
