Inviting all passionate surfers and musicians to join the Soul Water crew for a week filled with sun, surf and songs. 

Enjoy access to the Soul Water private music studio where we will, collaborate in writing and playing as well as create live recordings. Guest can feel free to bring their instruments along and/or utilize the Soul Water Studio instruments. 

…. custom DW drum kit, vintage electric/acoustic guitars and basses, 88 key weighted electric piano, percussion and full professional PA system. We’re encouraging each guest to have a song or song idea they would like to work on and/or create while on the trip. We will brining some acoustic instruments along with us to play at a variety of gorgeous locations. 

We will of course be staying at Casa Soul Water just steps off the sand from both the barreling beach break Playa Colorado and more forgiving Pangas Drops. Guest can plan on clocking in copious amounts of water time at a variety of breaks via high caliber and and sea vessels. Dive deep with two Conscious Breath & Meditatiion Immersions as well as yoga classes t the SW yoga studio. Partake in contrast exposure sessions with the ice/heat at the 14 person Cedar Sauna and extra large custom ice bath built specifically for Casa Soul Water.  There’s no better way to end the day.

Exercises are like prose, whereas yoga is the poetry of movements. Once you understand the grammar of yoga; you can write your poetry of movements.

A seasoned internationally certified Breathwork, Meditation, Yoga and Contrast Exposure Therapy facilitator…Over the years Derek has hosted his "Conscious Breath & Meditation Workshops” in a wide variety of settings around the globe from exclusive resorts and wellness centers throughout the Maldives, Indonesia and Hawaii to therapists offices, private retreats and thousands online participants. He is an Integrated Treatment Provider for the Arizona Relationship Institute, ketamine immersion guide and owner of Conscious Breath & Meditation Immersions as well as the holistic retreat company Soul Water Surf.

Located within the exclusive grounds of Hacienda Iguana on the Emerald Coast of Nicaragua our luxurious oceanfront estate sets the tone for your holiday with us. We will be living together in a spacious oceanfront villa!

  • Experience a variety of transformational sessions led by our certified seasoned facilitators and coaches. These sessions are designed to enliven and enhance your physical wellbeing, release stored tension and awaken your self awareness.

  • Non-refundable deposit

    $500 non-refundable initial deposit is required for all bookings

    Full payment is required for any bookings made 1 month prior to Retreat date.

  • "If you cancel more than 90 days before your retreat start date, 100% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat hosted by Soul Water Surf within 12 months less $500 deposit.

    If you cancel within 45 days of the Retreat, your payment is transferrable to any other retreat Soul Water Surf is hosting within a 12 month bracket, less $1000.

    If you cancel within 14 days of the Retreat date, you will forfeit your entire payment.

  • We recommend getting Travel insurance before you join us in Nicaragua incase of any travel disruptions or cancellations - to make sure all your costs will be covered.
